How human composting works in Idaho
Soil transformation, also referred to as natural organic reduction or terramation, is a 45-day process that gently converts a body into rich, nourishing soil. Your loved one is placed within a proprietary vessel alongside organic materials to facilitate this change.
Following the process, you determine the amount of soil to be returned to your family. Any remaining soil can be donated to local and regional conservation projects focused on restoring habitats.
Because human composting is not yet legal in Idaho, we serve families through our facilities in Auburn, WA and Las Vegas, NV. Your loved one is moved to our nearest human composting facility, with our team overseeing every step.
