I am so glad this option is available. I love the whole concept. All of my children are pleased as well. The process to set it all up was so simple, and it actually surprised me to discover that it was less expensive than anything else! I feel at peace with this decision.

I loved the idea, before I was in a position to use your services. Now I am even more sure that this is what I want done with my body when my time comes. The people at Earth were wonderful to work with.

Earth Funeral provides everything I want for my body after I pass from this life to whatever comes next. My body will turn to compost soil that will be Earth sustaining: It's recycling of my corporeal self through natural conversion to soil that is 100% reusable for the growth of new plants and trees to nourish the earth with oxygen, nutrition for Earth's living inhabitants, and the preservation of actual space that would otherwise be used for cemeteries, or crematoria that produce toxic gases from burning remains. I choose human composting of my remains that will provide my family with anthropomorphic reminders of me as I morph naturally into flowers, plants, trees, fields of grasses and herbs, orchards of fruit trees, or a garden of delicious fruits and veggies to eat. The possibilities are endless. But knowing that there are so many ways for me to be useful to Planet Earth after I've passed is enormously comforting and satisfying, and is already removing the common fears associated with death that have always been a source of unanswerable questions for me, including reincarnation. I'll still be living in many other forms after death...who could ask for more. For me, It puts my fear of the unknown in a much more comprehensible, less frightening and even joyous light. Excuse me while I carry on with the remainder of my life as I know it prior to my reincarnation as a lilac tree, a garden of beautiful purple pansies, delicious herbs, and whatever else my body is chosen to grow into.

First of all, I love the idea of an earth funeral and everything it entails. Furthermore, all my interactions with people at this funeral home have been extremely positive and satisfying. My heartfelt thanks go out to them.

Already planning a tour with two friends. One has already made cremation arrangements but she is intrigued by this type of final arrangement, as is her husband. This is the perfect alternative to grave/coffin purchase or the carbon footprint created by cremation. Compassionate, communicative and supportive. My late husband and I signed up with Earth Funeral when "terramation" was legalized in Washington State--my parents had already signed up for green burial. I found out how well they did their job when my husband was diagnosed with cancer and died 6 months later. The fact that all I had to do was have the hospital call their number, made a devastating loss less horrific. They notified me at every step of the process and provided me, and other family members, a portion of his remains to be placed where we wished. And the land they are restoring with the rest of his remains is lovely and exactly what my husband wanted. I would add that I am retired clergy and was incredibly impressed with the care and respect they gave me. I know how emotionally fraught, stressful and confusing the time is after a loved one's death is. That everything is taken care of with empathy and professionalism gave me comfort then and assures me that my own family will have one less traumatic task when I die. I have recommended them to everyone I know and encouraged people to plan ahead to make the process easier for them and their loved ones.

This just makes sense on many levels. I'm so pleased to have this choice. Cremation would have been my choice had this method not come available. I like the idea that my remains will nourish the earth. I like the idea that my family members aren't burdened with keeping my ashes. I've asked them to spread my remains in a garden or plant a beautiful tree . I like the idea of being added to the earth, Not taking up space that could be used for something useful. I like that should I die away from home that I'll be brought back to the Northwest and put back to the earth. I feel like I'm giving back to the earth instead of taking up space with a burial or using electrical power to dispose of my body. I'm just more comfortable with this method. I like the idea that if I die away from home that you will take care of everything without disturbing my family. I like everything that is offered in this program. I'm grateful.

I love the idea of being able to help the Earth and do something positive for the environment. From the very first point of contact—the webinar—and then putting everything in place, the entire process was easy and straightforward. I knew I didn’t want to be placed in a coffin and buried. When I mentioned composting to my daughter, she said that she had heard about it and so did my cousin in Florida. I did some research and found other friends had friends who were composting and I spoke with them too. They used other companies.in their area. QUESTION I just noticed in a recent email when you listed your benefits, but I noticed there was no mention of picking up my body from anywhere in the world. IS THIS NO LONGER AVAILABLE? I think the concept is ideal, what a great way to make the earth a better place. The price is excellent while the method is gentle. I liked the way you come to pick up a person with just a phone call. My children once I explained the concept were all on board with my decision.
