My husband died a couple months ago. Today we spread his compost remains in our garden. It was a precious and moving occasion; one he would have approved since we have him close and he's giving back to the earth with himself. "

From the first call To Earth Funeral to the soil delivery, the process was supportive and simple. During a time of grief, their care was a relief. I would highly recommend Earth Funeral for any family who cares about the environment and needs funeral services.

My experience in signing with Earth Funeral for my end of life burial was very positive and easy. Sara, was knowledgeable, and sensitive to sharing all aspects of the process. I was totally surprised to learn my family could decide whether or not to keep some of my soil at the time of my death. I wasnβt pressured to make that decision right away. Earth is an amazing alternative to caskets and cremation. Thank you for generating this option.

My husband had spinal cancer, so we had time to research funeral options, prior to his passing. Since we both care about nature and the health of our planet, we chose Earth Funeral. Working with Amelia and Chris was wonderful. They are very helpful, supportive and professional. I have already purchased my Earth Funeral arrangements, even tho I expect to see many more sunrises! I heard about this concept from my niece. I contacted Earth and found the facts. When you're gone, they pick your body up and prepare it with organic compounds. I was told it take about 7 months for the body to turn into compost. (But you don't have to worry, cause you won't be in it.) Then off to a location to be mixed with existing soil and rejuvenate the land! (Talk about getting your hands dirty!) I've always wanted to "return something to Mother Earth". This is the way to do it. We humans take and take from Earth. We leave nothing except scares and trash. (Also, a couple of ex-girlfriends thinks of me as dirt anyway, so this is only fitting.) [Joke]

I think this is a solution to so many obstacles in end of life situations. I am a naturalist and think going back to the Earth is the best way to travel full circle from birth to death. If I can nourish a river bank, a forest or a field of wild flowers I will die with purpose.

It's a great idea and I think a lot of folks would rather return something to Earth, rather than be buried in a tomb. I'm not a Pharo and at my age the only things that will find me appealing are bugs and such. So being buried in a casket someone can dig up in 200 years; I think what they find will be disappointing. And I like the idea of the 5 trees being planted. (I hope they're planted somewhere in the USA.)

When Chris (Taktak) closed Pisces, I had to restart my search. I needed an affordable, relatively local, environmentally conscious option - a personable and grounded connection would be a plus. Tall order, but I knew it was possible because I'd found it in Chris and Pisces. Proximity and price quickly winnowed my options. Online, Earth comes across online as forthright and without guile, which I find appealing. Recompose shares those same attributes but communicates a more relatable tone in their online presence. Finances directed me to follow up with Earth, not to mention the planned 2027 opening in California. Once I began interacting with staff, relationship needs sorted themselves. To cap it off, the arrival of Earth's welcome packet from sender Christopher Taktak affirmed I'd made the right choice for me! Staff was consistently helpful assisting my low-vision needs.

My first contact was when I emailed for a Price Quote in October 2023. I received a response and a follow up call from Senior Care Advisor Chris Coble. After researching the Earth Funeral materials, and our finances allowed, I contacted Chris for an in-person tour. Our daughter attended the tour & asked questions with us. Chris is very knowledgeable and answered our many questions & concerns. Chris was extremely welcoming. He showed us the facility and an up-close view of a vessel and samples of organic mulch, woodchips & wildflowers that will be added. Our 45-minute scheduled tour lasted over 1 1/2 hours, but Chris never made us feel it was time for us to leave! I have already given the EARTH pamphlets to my cousin & best friend. I have shared information with my family & friends. I even made a presentation to my 2 Granddaughters who are in their 20's. My Husband & I very much support the values of EARTH and feel very comfortable with our bodies going to earth when it is our time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was thrilled to find Earth Funeral! It is important to me to leave a smaller carbon footprint and the idea of being returned to the earth in the form of nutritious soil is wonderful. I was also pleased to see that they offered the option to be picked up from anywhere in the world for a reasonable feeβ¦β¦.this was a real selling point for me as I am doing some βlate-in-lifeβ traveling. The team at Earth Funeral walked me through the online document signing, which was very helpful and reassuring. This was the final piece that needed to be in my trust. Thank you Earth Funeral!

Through the soil transformation process and EARTH, every single 'road block we found with previous funeral arrangements were removed! The employees were extremely professional and patient. The sacredness of the death experience is maintained. The earth contaminants are zero! And the price was very fair, especially with no selling pressure to buy! I cannot recommend this business and it's practices enough!!! Thank you very much Chris Coble for guiding us through our decision; Christine for the virtual tour of the WA. facility, and those who made themselves available as needed. My sister passed suddenly in July and had told my Mom just days before that if she were to die, she would want something where she could return to the circle of life or have a tree or flowers planted over her. We looked around and found the Earth Funeral Services and they were so helpful and compassionate and explained the process and we knew it was exactly what my sister would have wanted. So very happy we found them and now my husband, Mother and I are all putting instructions that this is what we want done for ourselves as well.

I believe I have a passion and Iβve always been searching for something like Earth and recently. I came across as I was getting my death certification and then my dad passed and the first thing without a thought was to call Earth. I know that this is what I wanted for my father and I know this is what I want for myself and I do believe that there is no other choice going forward as our planet Sustain coffins being buried on top of each other and that pollution in the toxins that go along with cremation is also not sustainable for our planet and earth is not only sustainable, but it is beautiful and everybody there has been absolutely wonderful walking me through each and every step and no question is a dumb question and for every time I called and had one there was a beautiful answer and a loving kind human being to speak with me and I got to watch the process when I logon to see when the 45 days were up and where my dad soil was going to go and some of it came home to me where it is going to be placed in sacred places on my land and some family members lands and Iβm teaching the grandchildren about this and how to grow with the soil and itβs been a beautiful experience and it really helps because going through all the emotions and heartache of loss in the morning and the grief process knowing that youβre doing something beautiful thatβs going to keep our planet pure and surviving for generations to come. Itβs a big thing and I think that this shed so much knowledge and light on that and it is just absolutely amazing and I could not recommend, anything more than this and it is so dear to my heart I think that the more we can spread the word about this the better our planet is going to be ππ½π«Άπ½ππ½
