I enrolled in the plan thinking not only on me but in those that will come after me in this life that need to enjoy this earth as much as I am enjoying it. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be here forever when life has been a piece of the puzzle each one of us built for ourselves and the others we love as well. I love the smell of wet soil early in the morning and if there is some fog coming as well that is a miracle when rich soil feeds the new plant and the environment. I do not have enough words to tell you how happy I am with this decision. The persons there as well are so humble and open to share their own experiences with the process.

Amelia! Amelia helped me through every step with thoughtfulness and kindness. Our case was rare. We had 2 deaths within a 2 month period and Amelia helped me to coordinate both arrangements and tailored it to my family. She even gave us the option of sending both girls back together instead of separately, which was amazing. I was so happy to see that Earth Funeral now services my area in Northern California and that they plan to keep expanding as states legalize the composting process. The unexpected and devastating death of our 26 year old son February 12th was hard enough to handle but to make decisions about finalizing his body here on this earthly plain was a completely different story. We had signed ourselves up for Earth Funeral but they really stepped up to the plate to help us with our son's soil transformation - phone calls to check in with us, as well as emails that kept us up-to-date. Everyone should consider soil transformation when the time comes - it's best for our planet.

I chose 10 because there wasn't an 11 I am grateful to everyone on "Earth" for conceiving the idea and for providing "composting" as a sensible alternative to the gross and wasteful conventional options.

I can't say enough good about this company - they hold to high standards and attention to detail in how our bodies will be handled and transformed. I also can't say enough about Chris who intermittently spent the past few weeks on the phone with me, answering what seemed like my never ending questions. This was done with grace, and much forethought, as he grew to understand my concerns with different aspects of the process and my inability to know where I will be relocating to. It's been a long journey for me, to change my long time plan of green burial to human composting. Finally! I have peace of mind, and may I dare say "excitement" to have this plan in place! I was very pleased with how the people at Earth handled everything. I also liked that they could arrange for my body to be taken to their facility no matter where I was in the world and what I liked the most is that my earthly remains will become a useful part of the world. I can become part of a tree.

Excellent company to work with. Their representatives were responsive to my concerns and questions. Loved being able to do a virtual tour of the facility. I have always wanted to “be a tree” and this process of being composted in a vessel with organic mulch, wildflowers and wood chips appeals to me. After going over this choice with family and friends, I found a lot of interest was generated in choosing this method of burial rather than the traditional cremation or burial in a cemetery.

Earth did a great job helping me, a 78 year old non-techie person, do everything to sign up on my phone in a different state and now my earthly remain will really become part of a tree.

It's an odd question, I guess, since the product can't be evaluated until I die and then not by me, but I felt Earth provided just the right amount of information and reminding for me to feel comfortable with the process. Sarah was always responsive, friendly and informative without being pushy. My virtual tour guide (Josh?) was also friendly and informative.
