I love the idea of our bodies composting peacefully and not polluting the planet but rather enriching and nourishing the earth.

I've composted food scraps for years and would joke with my family that I wanted to be bokashied when I was gone and so when I read that Washington state was allowing a person to be composted it seemed a perfect fit. I researched it and then drove up and gave Earth a visit. The idea of giving back to nature appeals to me and the people at Earth have got it all to together. I would whole heartedly recommend to go on their website and look at the process. The staff and the facility seem top notch in my opinion

I read that the State Legislature had approved composting as a more environmentally-friendly alternative to coffins and cremation. To learn more about composting, I went to the Earth Funeral website and arranged for a virtual visit of their facility in Auburn. My questions were answered and I was impressed with everything they are doing. So, I have proceeded with prepayment and have told my friends about my decision.

After visiting Earth's informative website the majority of my questions were answered - those that remained were answered by a representative of the organization upon requesting a cost quote. Throughout the entire process Sarah quickly and efficiently answered all my questions providing a great level of confidence in the organization and the process. I now have the comfort of knowing that all of my end-of-life wishes will be honored.

The outdoors and nature have always been a very important part of my life. My husband died a couple months ago. Today we spread his compost remains in our garden. It was a precious and moving occasion; one he would have approved since we have him close and he's giving back to the earth with himself.

Pricing was definitely for me a huge plus. Also I appreciate that the remote Conservation location where my soil will reside is on the Olympic Peninsula away from the cities of Western Washington.

Earth offers a sustainable alternative to traditional burial and cremation. All the representatives I spoke with were helpful and responsive to my questions. Earth offers a way for an individual to make their own personal funeral arrangements so the family won't have to worry about what to do.

I am generally reluctant to give a product/service a rave review until after I have used it but in this case, that would be difficult (haha). However, I agree with other reviewers that I wanted to find an end of life process that would do the least harm to the environment given the challenges of climate change and the future of our planet. Earth Funeral's conditions of insuring the return of my body in case of my dying when traveling abroad as well as in case of their not being in business when I die were just what made them seem like a good choice for me. In addition, their prompt customer service was very helpful and supportive.

They were the most kind and caring people that I got to interact with. They took such good care of my mom and were gentle when talking with our family. I truly appreciate everything they do and will definitely recommend this as a natural way to be at rest.
