The mission of this organization is critical towards environmental sustenance. The staff are professional, easy to communicate with and place zero pressure on your decision making process. Our physical world benefits the most from the composting process of returning our physical selves in a manner that nourishes and sustains the environment rather than damaging it. I believe this is the most honorable decision a person can make if they wish to leave a lasting legacy.

This is probably the most ecologically sound method to have a "green" ending to one's life.

I know that not everyone thinks your idea is for them, but I am seriously concerned about the environment and your process makes more sense to me than any of the alternatives.

I have already been recommending it. But different people have different preferences so it’s not for everyone.

Because it just seems like a more environmentally better alternative to other funeral methods.

My initial introduction to Earth was their Webinar. It was very impressive and chock full of information. I was also offered a nice discount which further enticed me. All the details of dealing with my dead body are taken care of; Best of all I will be spread in a sustainable natural environment in a thoroughly nontoxic manner.

Nothing is perfect...although you all certainly are!

I am 100% pro-environment. I have been researching human composting for a number of years, just not thrilled about having to be transported to Washington state. Now that Earth is expanding to closer locales, the concern is resolved.

I have been following Earth Funeral for several years and was delighted to find out that the service was finally available in Virginia. I attended the informational conference call, and was able to meet with a representative within days. I love the idea of giving back to the earth without leaving a parting footprint on the planet. Now my adult children will not have to worry about what to do next when I pass. This gives me a great deal of peace.

For people who are concerned about sustainability and/or want something more meaningful out of their death (meaningful to them before they die, knowing what's going to happen to their leftovers), EF is a great solution. To be honest, the only turn-off in my dealings with EF was the sort of "car salesman" approach after first contact: constant, incessant email and text asking if I wanted to talk yet, wanted to attend a zoom seminar, etc. I was really put off by that, but eventually watched a webinar because ultimately, it seemed like the kind of thing I wanted.

Best method short of walking in the mountains n going off trail to due n get eaten by birds animals n bugs I guess

I am happy with everything except the fact that the only room available for family to mourn together only holds 10 people. The minimum should hold 40 or 50 people. We have 5 grandchildren and what about our children and siblings. Also I would prefer the choice to be with the wrapped body or with the vessel holding the deceased. I cringe at the thought of displaying the wrapped body but I understand if other people have different needs.

It's cleaner than cremation and allows you to plant with, scatter, or donate the soil.

The process makes sense (particularly environmentally), the costs seem reasonable, the people seem great, and it’s a wonderful feeling to have the arrangements all set.

I've already recommended the service to my friends. The whole process from estimate to delivery was as easy as it could have been, considering the circumstances. Communication was wonderful, thorough, and kind.

To bury can be a hardship for many. To buy a casket, and a plot, is $ thrown away! Cremation is expensive too, not beneficial to anyone. The Earth Funeral is priced fairly and beneficial to the earth.

The best end of life natural arrangement.

Natural process. Non-toxic. Non-polluting, as a matter of fact it's ecologically contributing. Affordable. Gives me the ability to spread my contribution in more than 1 place. Really like the idea of my body going back to and intermingling with the earth.
