Having examined all the options for handling physical remains after death I found green burial to be the most logical choice. It allows the body to become forever part of the environment, living on through all the wonderful plants and elements of the earth without being either burned up or buried underground. The staff at Earth Funeral were very helpful and professional when I was making pre-need arrangements at their Las Vegas facility.

Ecofriendly and Amazing Customer Service! Traditional funeral services are expensive and they include too many parts. The event of having to pick out a coffin or an urn to eventually be placed in is a very surreal experience. There are multiple designs and features to pick out but at the end of the day, it’s all going into the ground to hopefully never be seen again. The cremation process seems a little less involved but you still need to pick out a $1k or more urn. It’s all seemed too wasteful to me. When I heard about Earth and the services they provide, it was like a spa before eternal rest. Wildflowers and a shroud? Sounds perfect. Family can take some of your soil in a small compostable bin? Love that it’s waste-free! Trees get planted in my honor AND we get to help with reforestation? Literally sign me up. Everything about Earth has been out of a dream. The services are exactly what I’ve always looked for in a pre-arranged funeral service, the website was incredibly easy to navigate, and the customer service during the tour was top tier. Shoutout to Roe for being the most incredible representative at the Nevada location. If you’re thinking about checking it out or you’re even a little curious, I would say it is definitely worth the time to visit or speak with a representative. They are so patient and kind, so you definitely won’t regret it!

I think Earth is very committed to the environment. I chose Earth with pre-planned funeral arrangements and the spreading of my soil back to our earth.

Earth Funeral exceeded my expectations in taking care of my father after he died. My father always said he wanted to be cremated and spread around a fruit tree. I think he would be proud that I chose to have him made into soil. The employees at Earth Funeral were very helpful in transporting my father's body from California to Washington state, giving me updates often but not in an intrusive manner. They were available to answer all of my questions and I am grateful for this company.

I was so impressed with how easy the process was when my husband died that I set up a prepaid service for myself. My hope is that my heirs will have one less thing to worry about. I opted for the transportation protection plan. I do some traveling and I didn't want my family to worry about how to get my body home in the case that I die while traveling. The staff were very compassionate and helpful, both when my husband died and when I set up my own final arraignments.

Earth made this process so simple and everyone has been so kind and responsive. The communication was excellent, which is reassuring when sending a loved one for this process from a distance.

I’m incredibly happy with the service that Earth Funeral provides, as well as the care my family and I received. I was concerned that having my dad’s remains flown out of Utah and having to coordinate with two funerals would be complicated, but it was seamless. Earth Funeral provides an alternative to burial or cremation, whereby human remains are composted over appx 30 days into soil. Along with 4 friends we toured the Auburn, WA facility to learn firsthand the entire process. Our salesman was good. We left him with unanswered questions. The next day I recieved a call back from either his manager or company owner. We talked for about 45 minutes completely covering our questions and much more. I was impressed by the company, it's dedication to the environment and professionalism. I'd be hard pressed to write another review after I use the services purchased for myself! My family members are environmentally-conscious snd likely desirable of a funeral arrangement that is also environmentally friendly.

I chose 10 because friends have chosen it and I loved talking to Sarah McWalter when I signed up. She answered my questions clearly and I felt I was being heard.

My Jewish friends don't believe in cremation and burial is getting so ridiulously expensive that it is unaffordable for most. This may be a great option for those who care about the earth, and their finances.

I have never wanted to have my body buried - such a total waste of land. So the only other option I was aware of was cremation. But this alternative to me is in sync with my thoughts about being a doner - make use of our bodies after we're gone. It just makes sense to me. Donate what is useful and return the nutrients for further life in another form with what is left. My only wish to is come up with a different name than 'compost'. That word makes sense, but hits less than positive images - in my brain at least. :slightly_smiling_face:
