Jaide, I'll miss you so much. Every adventure you will be in my heart. I will take your spirit with me and try to be as kind and supportive as you were to everyone you met. We talk to you every day, miss you every day, and thank the universe for having you in our life. You were a champion for all, human and animal and I wish you peace and comfort until we meet again.
Through years of memories made, I am most grateful the universe didn't take you away before you got to watch me find love, peace, and motherhood. You were a lighthouse in a beautiful yet treacherous storm. Always positive and exited to take on the next adventure. Even if that meant another round of chemo. Life never stopped at cancer, and you sure as hell made sure of that! We were all proud of you for fighting as long and as hard and you did. I... Read More
Jaide served as my supervisor during a challenging period in the midst of the COVID pandemic. I am deeply humbled by her unwavering energy and strong work ethic. Despite facing personal challenges, she consistently demonstrated a readiness and willingness to help, always extending her support to those around her.
I vividly recall our conversations through Teams, where she managed to balance her professional responsibilities even while undergoing treatment and working remotely. Her dedication to her role and the team was truly admirable.
In 2021, Jaide went above and beyond, providing valuable resources to support not only me but also other members of our team. I am grateful for her efforts, and I truly appreciate the positive impact she had on our work environment.
Beyond the professional realm, I feel honored to have called Jaide a friend. Despite my departure, we maintained contact, and I valued the connection we shared.
Just a couple of weeks ago, I reached out to her, unaware of the recent events. Learning of her passing today has left me with a profound sense of loss. It is difficult to comprehend that our last conversation in June marked the end of our dialogue.
Jaide will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the positive influence she had on those fortunate enough to know her.
It is one of those days.
The "re-union" that never happen now I have returned to ESD... the loss is real.
As we conclude the year, I hope Jaide is smiling and happy to know that she has not been forgotten. I still remember I had a difficult interaction with a rather senior customer and how she called her a "Wise Worker" what a very smart and positive way to communicate with kindness, 100% Jaide.
I hope she knows that her sibling, who was stolen from her family isn't just a number in the Missing Childrens statistic... Read More
