In Loving Memory of Robert “Bob” Peters. As we scroll through the countless photos on Lynn’s phone, we are reminded of the timeless memories that capture the essence of Bob’s spirit. There are many smiles, breathtaking landscapes, and treasured moments shared with family and friends. These images embody the heart of Bob Peters. Our beloved Bob peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 3:07 pm, following a sudden cardiac event. He was surrounded by the love of his life, Lynn, and dear friends who rushed to his side. While Bob’s passing was felt deeply by all who knew him, the news was especially heart-wrenching for his family, scattered across several Western states, whose hearts collectively broke with the loss. If you’re reading this, it’s likely your heart is heavy with grief too. We share in your sorrow because Bob had a remarkable way of becoming one of the most cherished people in anyone’s life. --Need a hand with something? Call Bob. --Need to know about a specific faucet? Ask Bob. --Looking for an adventure or a weekend getaway? Bob (and Lynn) were always up for it. And for those lucky enough to experience his embrace, Bob’s bear hugs were the stuff of legend. Bob’s life was built on the cornerstones of family, friendship, and adventure. He loved nothing more than combining all three. Whether it was traveling near or far, Bob and Lynn found joy in exploring the mountains, seas, deserts, and cities. Some of their favorite destinations included the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, Italy, and the villages of Germany. Most of all he loved skiing in the majestic mountains of the West. Bob’s warmth extended far beyond his personal life; it also defined his work. A respected and seasoned professional in the commercial plumbing industry, Bob built a career that spanned decades, earning the trust and admiration of colleagues from all over the country. He took pride in maintaining relationships with colleagues, many becoming close friends. As many know, Bob was a man who showed up for his loved ones. He was always there for weddings, graduations, and special events—he even served as a support crew as his friends hiked the Grand Canyon. More than anything, Bob cherished his wife, Lynn. Together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. On December 29, 2024, they would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary—a milestone that speaks to their enduring love and deep connection. A Celebration of Bob’s Spirit will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 1 pm-4 pm at their home. Please join us in honoring his spirit. If you feel moved to leave an online message here, the non-profit organization One Tree Planted will plant two trees in Washington State for every condolence message you post.
