Leaf - Earth Leaf - Earth Leaf - Earth Leaf - Earth

The Chesnut Family is in the process of planning Lynn’s Celebration Of Life (approximately Sept/Oct). We are gathering names and emails of those who would like to attend, so the family can send the information when plans are completed. Lynn touched many lives in so many ways that they would also love to hear how you knew her. If you would like to attend, please send an email to lynncelebrationoflife@hotmail.com with: Name: Email: How you knew her: If you have already messaged us through Facebook, you do not need to send any information again. --------------------------- Lynn passed away Saturday July 8th at 6am at age 53. As many of you know she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. She fought hard over the years working with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance on treatments and plans. She passed away at home with me (David her husband), and two kids, Jake and Anna. We're all very sad. I will especially love and miss her as the last 24+ years were the greatest in my life. We built a wonderful life together and I will forever miss her. Lynn graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with a Dental Hygiene degree. She became a dental hygienist in Medford Oregon. She loved her job, and really enjoyed helping people. She also volunteered to provide her services to people lacking health insurance. This was part of Lynn's personality. She was always there any time someone needed her. In 1997 she met me (David) and in 1999 we were married. She moved to Bellevue, and we had two kids. Jake in 2001 and Anna in 2003. She guided them with their education to grow up to be the smart, wonderful kids they are today. In 2012 Lynn was diagnosed with breast cancer. The surgery and chemo caused neuropathy in her feet and hands. This meant she could no longer be a dental hygienist. But this didn't stop her. She became the prop master at Studio East in Kirkland. Studio East is an acting school for kids. Jake and Anna loved the school and attended and acted in many plays. Lynn created the props for all the plays each year and volunteered to help all the kids put on some amazing shows! Lynn also got involved in making movies with friends like short films for the 48 hour film festival. She eventually worked on the film "They Reach" where she got an IMDB listing for assistant art director, assistant costume designer, and production manager. Lynn loved to travel, and we visited some great places in the world in Australia, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Northwest. I feel lucky to have shared my life with her. I know she would send her love to all of you and ask you not to be sad. Please remember her wonderful personality and positivity. I know the world would be a better place if everyone could be more like Lynn. Love you all! David

Leave the earth with beauty

Earth specializes in soil transformation, an environmentally-friendly alternative to burial and cremation. Over a 45-day process, we gently transform a body into nutrient-rich soil. We then send this soil to our local conservation land where it’s used for restoration projects such as reforestation and nourishing challenged ecosystems.
