My wife Karen had a huge heart for people. She worked as a Paramedic for 20 plus years, when there were few women in the fire department field. After she left Emergency Medical Service (EMS) she worked as a Drug Treatment Counselor. All of her clients are missing her a lot. She may be gone from this mortal soil, but there is now a bright light beyond that crystal sea. We were only married for just 9 years, but those 9 years were a blessing.
