Our beloved son and brother Harry, 19, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025 at his home in Rio Rancho, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness, intelligence, and curiosity. Harry was born on August 8, 2005 in Roswell, NM, to S. Dustin Harbuck and Kate Marlowe. He grew up in New Mexico, with adventures in Florida and California. A precocious and brilliant young man, he was endlessly inquisitive and always eager to explore new ideas and solve complex problems. A 2023 graduate of Bosque School, Harry thrived in an environment that nurtured his curiosity, intellect, and passion for discovery. His time at Bosque was deeply formative, shaping not only his academic achievements but also his love for problem-solving and innovation. He excelled in the Science Olympiad, reaching both the state and regional finals, and his dedication to technology and creativity led him to win a Congressional App Challenge. This remarkable achievement took him to Washington, DC, where he had the honor of meeting members of Congress. The friendships, experiences, and knowledge he gained at Bosque remained close to his heart, guiding him as he pursued his future. Harry was pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science at the University of New Mexico, working toward a career in cybersecurity. His sharp intellect and deep understanding of the subject made him a natural fit for a field dedicated to protecting others. Beyond academics, Harry found joy in video games and Warhammer 40k, immersing himself in the creativity, strategy, and storytelling they offered. He was a voracious reader and had a deep love for music. He was usually seen with headphones as he listened to his favorite songs. Harry was a loyal friend, a compassionate son, a protective brother, and a source of inspiration to those who knew him. His kindness and brilliance touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed. Harry is survived by his mother Kate Marlowe; father S. Dustin Harbuck; sisters Eulalie Norton-Marlowe and Reagan Harbuck; grandparents Buddy and Cathie Harbuck; as well as many beloved family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd, at 4 PM at Bosque School. Harry's light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved him, and his legacy of curiosity, kindness, and brilliance will never be forgotten. "I'm grateful for the little things, or I try to be." - Harry.
