Glenn Robert Ohler- Strong in mind and body, holding tightly to beliefs and training plans that enabled strong conversation and extraordinary endurance. Creator of ephemeral sand drawings to a scale beyond comprehension. Creator of such delicious meals that the experience of his culinary wizardry could linger for years. Lover of learning, lover of nature, lover of serving others. Lover of life. From beginning to end, Glenn let his thoughts be know, thrived on enduring brutal conditions, found comfort in being organized and productive, reached for a deeper understanding of his inner world, and filled his heart through connecting with others. Generosity, kindness, compassion and caring were his core values, qualities that Glenn exuded wherever he wandered. To honor Glenn, live by one of his mottos: Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. Never eat hot food on a cold plate. There will be a memorial for Glenn on the Central Coast of California.
