Leaf - Earth Leaf - Earth Leaf - Earth Leaf - Earth

On March 4th of 2023, Dorothy Elizabeth Tanner Zietz, peacefully left her home in Banks Oregon to take on her next great adventure after struggling with progressive supranuclear palsy for many years. Everyone knew her as Lisa. Daughter of Dr Dean Tanner and Dorothy Smith. Lisa was the fifth of eight siblings. Nothing meant more to Lisa than family. Lisa was loved by many, but none more by than her best friend and husband Jerry Zietz, daughter Mathea Zietz and her son, Kelly Zietz. Jerry and Lisa were married in 1974 in Ogden Utah where they began a life together. They moved to Oregon in 1983 where they made their home and a long wonderful life full of love, laughter, music, dance, art, tears, good food, a full garden, grand adventures and a great many animals. She was blessed with two wonderful grand kids, ElizabethAnne Marie and Braedan Thomas that were the focus of her love later in life. Lisa Zietz was an artist of many talents, a union carpenter, a farmer, a lover of animals, a friend, a "Wild Goat Woman", a mother, a partner and a damned fine culinary witch. Lisa had a wonderful sense of humor that opened hearts to all she touched. Lisa was very much involved with the local 4-H program and was superintendent of the Goat Barn at the Washington County Fair for many years. Lisa loved fiercely, she was kind to all, and always had a kind smile and words of comfort and encourgement for everyone. Lisa's final wishes included promoting awareness and funding research to help find treatment and curative measures for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Leave the earth with beauty

Earth specializes in soil transformation, an environmentally-friendly alternative to burial and cremation. Over a 45-day process, we gently transform a body into nutrient-rich soil. We then send this soil to our local conservation land where it’s used for restoration projects such as reforestation and nourishing challenged ecosystems.
