Beverly Saline Dallman was born March 16, 1933 to Robert and Edna Dallman, in Fessenden, North Dakota. In 1934 the Dallman family moved to Hamilton Montana, where Beverly spent her childhood in the small town. She attended Hamilton High School, and braved its winter sports as a cheerleader, graduating in 1951. Following a lifelong calling to nurture human health, Beverly then completed her degree in Nursing from St. Luke's Hospital of Nursing, and also graduated from Washington State University, in 1955 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Soon after, in April of 1955, Beverly met Robert Vaughn at a church social, and on February 5, 1956 the two exchanged the vows of marriage. The newlyweds then moved south, to sunny southern California, initially in Glendale, and then settling down in Palmdale, where they raised their three children--Victoria, Roberta, and William. Continuing her career as a nurse, Beverly also attended to newborns, during the night shift, in the Nursery wing of Antelope Valley Hospital for many years. Even in the years of her retirement--first in Maryland and eventually in Red Bluff California, Beverly remained active, earning her pilot's license and also enjoyed the freedom of travel, including long distance motorcycle trips with her husband. After Bob died in 1997, Beverly made the decision to return to southern California, in Llano, to be closer to her grandchildren there. And she came to love being their grandmother--attending all the special events in their lives. In 2017, Beverly then relocated to Pasco, Washington, to live with her daughter Roberta, who took good care of her time there, until she finally passed away, at age 89, on January 10, 2023. Throughout her entire life, Beverly sustained a life of Christian faith, remained an avid Bible reader, attended church, and cherished her relationship to God. Beverly was proceeded in death by her parents Robert and Edna Dallman, her brother Bill Dallman, and her beloved husband, Robert Vaughn. She leaves behind her daughters Victoria Schell (Dan) and Roberta Garrison, her son William (Dorene) and eight grandchildren Nicholas and Geneva Schell, Alexa, Ian, Eric, Oliver, Isaac, and Alanna Vaughn, and one Great Grandchild due in March 2023.
