Alan Paulsen

Feb. 9, 1965 - March 16, 2023

We have lost our little brother. He was a sweet and gentle soul. He loved dogs and cats, well all animals really, and to my knowledge never hurt anyone. He was very smart, a great sense of humor, skilled with his hands, but tormented life long from trauma that was inflicted on him at a very young age by our mother. He really was a textbook example of someone who is surrounded by trauma and chaos at a young age and suffers lifelong harm from it. He could have died long ago, but he pulled himself up with the help of others and his faith and good heart. I loved him and miss him terribly. Alan was born in Napa California in 1965 and passed away on March 16th, 2023 in Seattle Washington. He is survived by his brother Dave Somers and his sister Diane Brokenshire. This is Alan with his rescue dog Chopper who also has experienced trauma until Alan rescued him. Love you our brother.
