Skylar O'Tinker

Skylar Harrow O’Tinker was born on June 5th, 1990, in Portland, Oregon. Possessing a unique spirit of calm and kindness, Sky blessed us all with their friendly demeanor and bright attitude. Both a leader and teammate, Sky worked non-stop to sweeten the environment around them. This determination made Sky an exemplary grad-student, a powerful voice in their cancer-survivor community, a devoted partner, the caregiver of Bucklebury farm, and a brilliant friend. With heavy hearts we said goodbye to our beloved Sky on the morning of Friday, Oct. 11th, 2024, at 34 years old at UWMC, Seattle, WA. They are survived by siblings Jo and Mallory, and their parents Patrick O’Harrow and Laurie O’Harrow. Continued in survival are Sky’s beloved partners Angie, Dinah, Mischa, Rose, and Jasmine, and their pet dogs Tashka and Jelly Bean, pet cats Zinnie and Stash, and their beloved flock of over 40 chickens. We know that our friend will continue to watch over and guide us with the same love and caring shown everyday. We love you Sky, and hope to embody the spirit of equity, inclusion, patience, and heart which you taught us all.
