Niki was a beautiful woman and adoring wife and mother. She always had a hunger for life. Never a dull moment. Niki could cook you a meal that would heal your soul and throw you a bowl to eat it from. She loved all "her people" and took care of them every day, never putting herself first. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in culinary arts in 2013, she spent nearly a decade working food service both under and alongside several notable names such as a Chef Masaharu Morimoto and a Chef Tom Douglas, before meeting her husband while working in a grocery store in 2020. Within a year, she found herself back in restaurants-- and proudly pregnant-- transitioning to front of house and excelling at running her restaurants and taking care of her staff. As she did with all her people, she proudly took care of them, often by feeding them tacos, Costco muffins, and energy drinks. After 18 months of battling melanoma, she passed quietly in her sleep. She leaves behind three kids, a husband, a dog, two cats, and many friends.
