Levon Walter Rooney, 41, passed away on May 22, 2025, in Seattle. Washington. He was born October 8th, 1983 at 10:08 PM at home in Casper, Wyoming. Levon spent his formative years growing up on Camano Island, Washington. He attended school in Stanwood, Washington and was a proud graduate of Stanwood High School and continued his education at Everett Community College. He built a career as a dedicated Truck Driver, a profession he approached with excitement and commitment. Beyond his work , Levon was a true Artist at heart. He found immense joy and expression through playing music, drawing, writing, avid reading and sculpture. His creative spirit was a significant part of who he was. Levon was a man of profound kindness and possessed an exceptionally big heart. He was known for his extreme empathy and a deep seated desire to help those who were " down and out", always extending a hand to those in need. His great sense of humor brought laughter and light to those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. Levon will be remembered as a sweet, gentle bear of a man. His struggle with Chronic Illnesses is over. No more pain, no more fear. Levon is survived by his loving mother, Wanda Palmer, his father Edward Rooney, his big brother, Joseph Rooney(Jessica) and his adored nephew Andy. For the last 4 years of his life Levon was loved dearly by Zebba Shandell and Daughter of his Heart, Bailey. Levon was proceeded in death by his beloved Uncle Mick Rooney and Uncle Joe Rooney, Maternal Grandparents Laurie and Herman Carver, and Paternal Grandparents Grace Swartz and Leo Rooney. He also leaves behind multiple cousins across the nation. A gathering of family to celebrate Levon's life will be held at a date to be determined. Details will be announced.
